“The state budget of Azerbaijan next year will reach a record level, including the funds allocated for military spending. You may ask why, the war is over, two years have passed. The answer is very simple. Revanchist forces are raising their heads in Armenia . Forces and circles are appearing in Armenia, ready to accept the outcome of the war,” he said.
The President mentioned the strengthening of the Azerbaijani army, its reform and the improvement of its equipment.
“The current Azerbaijani army is stronger than two years ago, and everyone should know this. And Armenia,” Aliyev said.
According to him, Armenia is not fully complying with the agreements of November 10, 2020, and has not fully withdrawn its armed forces from Karabakh.
“Armenia has not given us the Zangezur corridor and is periodically carrying out military actions against us. Of course, we must be ready, and we are ready,” assured the president.
Aliyev warned that if Armenia wants to pursue a policy of good neighborliness, “first of all, it must fulfill all agreements, be honest in peace negotiations and not waste time. a peaceful contract must sign these terms.
Remember, on October 31, Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a statement on Nagorno-Karabakh. It states that the Russian Federation will provide all possible assistance in finding a solution that will satisfy both sides of the conflict.
