City authorities have never been able to dismantle the rubble of the destroyed theater due to the ongoing shooting.
The Russian occupiers cleaned up the ruins of the drama theater in Mariupol that they bombed and brought the found corpses of the dead to the mass grave in Mangush. This was announced on Saturday, April 23, by Petr Andryushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of the city.
According to him, the bodies of the victims were packed in plastic bags. After they were taken to the industrial zone in the area of Nikolskoye Highway, and then to a mass grave in the village of Mangush.
“There is no limit to the ridicule of the Russians. The territory of the square under the Drama Theater was used for the cemetery of Nazi Germany soldiers, whose bodies were excavated and re-buried only in 2018-2019 during the reconstruction period. Now the Russians have made the center of Mariupol a cemetery again, “said Andryushchenko.
Recall that on March 16, Russian troops dropped a very powerful bomb on the Mariupol Drama Theater, despite the fact that children were written near the building.
It was later learned that 130 people had been taken from under the ruins of the Mariupol Drama Theater. It was reported that up to 1300 people may have been in the bomb shelter. At least 300 people were killed, authorities said.
