The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a large-scale air raid on November 4 shot down three Russian cruise missiles in southern Ukraine. One of them was liquidated from the calculations of MANPADS by the fighters of the Center Air Command.
The military reported that at about 4 p.m., servicemen of one of the MANPADS crews of a separate anti-aircraft missile division of the Center Air Command, performing combat missions in the southern direction, hit an enemy cruise missile.
A successful volley is a saved infrastructure facility and hundreds of civilian lives,” the military said.
Two more downed missiles are the result of the air defense of the South Air Command.
Two of them are known to be Kalibr-type cruise missiles used by the Russian occupation troops to attack Ukraine from the Black Sea. One cruise missile was shot down over the Kherson region, and the other over the Mykolaiv region.
