Iran denies its participation in the war on the territory of Ukraine and claims that it sent only a small group of drones to Russia, and then before the war.
An Il-76 cargo plane flew to Russia from Iran, which could carry Shaheed-136 drones. This is in reference to a photo of the aircraft unloading at a Russian airport on Saturday, November 5, wrote the German edition Bild.
“The Il-76 large-capacity cargo plane took off from Tehran on Thursday morning and landed at the cargo terminal of Moscow’s Vnukovo airport around noon,” the statement said.
The publication draws attention to pallets with large boxes, which are transported by loaders from the aircraft to the warehouse.
The Il-76 is said to belong to the Iranian company Pouya Air, which is on the US sanctions list. The US Treasury Department believes that Pouya Air planes are being used by Iranian authorities to transport illegal cargo.
“In all likelihood, a new shipment of Iranian Shaheed-136 kamikaze drones arrived in Moscow on Thursday,” said Bild military expert Julian Repke.

It is known that recently Russia has widely used kamikaze drones for attacks in Ukraine, identified by experts as Iranian Shahed-136, and used by Russian forces under the name Geran.
Iran has admitted that it has indeed supplied drones to Russia, but according to Iranian officials, this was done before the start of a full-scale war by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. in turn, the President of Ukraine said that the words of official Tehran are lies.
