The content of the entire system of central executive authorities was reduced in the budget for the next year.
From the state budget, the government will spend less. This follows from the state budget for 2023 approved by the Verkhovna Rada. On Saturday, November 5, the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov announced this on the air of an informational telethon, commenting on the document adopted by the Parliament in the second reading.
He noted that the financing of state bodies has decreased by a quarter compared to this year, separately for the maintenance of the entire system of central executive bodies – by 22%.
“Costs for the Cabinet of Ministers have been significantly reduced – by 25%. And in general, for the system of central executive authorities, ministries and others – by 22%,” he said.
According to him, the indexation of the salary of civil servants for the next year was not given.
“And not just civil servants. Now the priority is defense spending. And they are a priority in the adopted draft state budget, which after signing will get the status of a law. And the security and defense sector is the main one in it,” Nemchinov emphasized.
It will be remembered that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday, November 3, adopted the law on the state budget for 2023.
