As the head of the Ministry of Defense mentioned, we are talking about the development of a system of underwater, surface and land drones.
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that one of the challenges for Ukraine’s military-industrial complex (MIC) is the development of a system of drones. He said this at a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform media center on November 4.
“The challenge for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex is the development of modern technologies, such as drones. I mean not only those in the air, but also those under water, in water and on the ground. This is the future of modern wars on Earth. Unfortunately, having such a neighbor, we understand all the challenges after winning this war. Therefore, we are developing a system of unmanned drones, as well as methods of counterfighting enemy drones to shoot them down or capture them,” Reznikov said.
According to the minister, another challenge for the military-industrial complex is the construction of a system for repairing equipment.
Reznikov noted that the simplest repairs should take place on the battlefield, repairs of medium complexity – in Ukrainian enterprises, and heavy repairs – outside Ukraine, for example, in Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic.
Recall that Ukraine and the Czech Republic are preparing several projects to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, in the field of air defense.
It was previously reported that a drone was created in Ukraine that could target HIMARS.
