British Ambassador to Moscow Deborah Bronnert received a “strong protest” from the Russian Foreign Ministry over London’s alleged involvement in the attack.
The Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, November 3, summoned the British Ambassador to Moscow, Deborah Bronnert, who “strongly protested” over London’s alleged involvement in the attack on occupied Sevastopol. This was stated in the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
As the Russians noted, they expressed “a protest due to the active participation of British military specialists in preparing and equipping Ukrainian troops, especially for the purpose of carrying out sabotage operations at sea.”
“If such acts of aggression continue, threatening direct involvement in the conflict, the full responsibility for their disastrous consequences and the growth of tension in the relations between our states will be entirely on the British side,” said of the ministry of the aggressor.
At the same time, Moscow has not provided concrete evidence to support its claims. As mentioned in the Russian Foreign Ministry, they allegedly have information that the British Navy “transferred a certain number” of unmanned vehicles to the Ukrainian side.
It will be recalled that on October 29, the authorities announced that they were covering an attack by drones in the waters of Sevastopol Bay. The Russian Defense Ministry blamed Ukraine and the UK for the attack. The invaders said they “destroyed all targets in the air.”
