Their presence means the world knows what’s going on at a nuclear power plant in the middle of a war zone.
On Thursday, November 3, a new team of experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) with four people arrived at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. This is what the Director General of the Agency Rafael Grossi said.
He emphasized that this is the second round of experts after the agency’s delegation visited ZNPP last September 1.
“Thanks to the support of all stakeholders, we successfully rotated the staff at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant a few hours ago. Their presence means that the world knows what is happening at this huge nuclear power plant, located in in the middle of a war zone,” Grossi emphasized.
It was noted that the new team of IAEA experts will be the third in the ZNPP in the past two months.
The IAEA also said it had not found any signs of undeclared nuclear activity at three sites in Ukraine that could indicate an imminent “dirty bomb” provocation.
It will be remembered that Russian propagandists, as well as Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, began to spread “information” about the alleged presence of a “dirty bomb” in Ukraine.
