In the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian law enforcement officers detained a 60-year-old “star” of Russian propaganda videos.
Sergey Bolvinov, head of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, announced this on his Facebook page.
60-year-old Lyudmila was born in the village of Mironovskoye, Donetsk region, an internally displaced person in the village. Mantsovka, Velikoburluksky district, Kharkov region. This woman has already seen Russia’s war against Ukraine since 2014, but still supported the “Russian world”. Moreover, she moved to the Kharkiv region, and not to the Russians, Bolvinov notes.
He notes that Bolshoi Burluk and the villages around it were occupied the very next day after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion – on February 25th.
From the very beginning of the occupation, the woman supported Russian aggression and administration. In particular, on September 5, even during the occupation of the region, she took part in the filming of the plot of the Russian Channel One, where she announced positive sentiments about the occupation, glorified and justified the actions of Russian representatives.
Investigators of the Investigation Department for operational support of Ukrainian SSR operatives in the Kharkiv region collected all the evidence – video materials and testimonies of local residents and Lyudmila’s suspicion of committing a criminal offense (crime) under Part 6 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, Bolvinov notes.
The sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of 10 to 12 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of 10 to 15 years and possible confiscation of property.
