The lowest denominator for Ukraine is that Russia has withdrawn troops from all Ukrainian territories, the minister said.
An acceptable end to the war launched by the Russian Federation against Ukraine is the withdrawal of Russian troops from all Ukrainian territory. This is what Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said in an interview for the publication Cadenaser, published on Thursday, November 3.
According to him, Ukraine has many elements that it will try to implement, but “the absolute minimum denominator is that Russia is not located on the territory of Ukraine.”
He also confirmed that we are talking about the withdrawal of Russian troops from all occupied territories, including Crimea.
“Yes, and I think we should stop emphasizing Crimea, because Crimea is no different from Donetsk or Lugansk. It’s just part of Ukraine. When journalists do it by saying “including Crimea,” they give the impression that Crimea is something really special. , which should be treated differently,” the official insisted.
Crimea is the same part of the territory of Ukraine, the minister said.
“And regardless of how Russia or any other country feels about this, we should not interfere with this narrative, saying that this is a special territory that needs to be treated in a special way,” Kuleba summarized.
Earlier, Kuleba said that Russia’s massive missile strike in Ukraine was Vladimir Putin’s answer to all those calling for peace talks in Moscow.
