The fuel for the operation of diesel generators in the mode of complete de-energization of the station remains for 15 days.
On Wednesday, November 2, as a result of enemy shelling, the last two high-voltage communication lines of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant with the Ukrainian energy system were damaged. At 23:04, the station switched to a complete blackout. All 20 diesel generators are on. Energoatom reported this on November 3.
Currently, the ZNPP auxiliary power supply circuit is optimized, nine diesel generators are left in operation. The fifth and sixth power units are transferred to a cold state.
Power engineers reported that the fuel for operating diesel generators in the mode of complete de-energization of the ZNPP remains for 15 days. The countdown has begun.
“Due to the occupation of the plant and the interference of Rosatom representatives in its work, the ability of the Ukrainian side to maintain the Zaporizhzhya NPP in a safe mode is significantly limited,” the report said.
Energoatom once again appealed to the international community with a call to urgently take steps for the rapid demilitarization of the ZNPP, the withdrawal of all Russian military from the territory of the plant and the city of Energodar, and the return of Zaporizhzhya NPP under full control in Ukraine for the sake of the security of the whole world.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian invaders installed their electronic warfare systems on the roof of one of the power units of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
