The Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that Kremlin propagandists have encouraged the creation of dangerous myths and fictions about what is happening in Ukraine.
“In particular, they take advantage of the results of the work of foreign journalists who use unverified sources, rumors from the slums of the Internet, unreasonable assumptions, opinions of experts affiliated with pro-Russian forces. Such a real information operation of the Putin regime is taking place to tarnish the image of the Ukrainian state, first of all, in the eyes of partners,” the ministry said in a statement.
An example of fake messages in the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the news about arms smuggling.
“The latest example of such “multi-move” information with a clear purpose appeared in the Finnish press. We are talking about an interview in the Yle publication with the senior commissioner of the National Bureau of Investigation (Keskusrikospoliisi) Christer Ahlgren . Currently, to verify the facts mentioned in the interview, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine sent a request to Finland, Sweden, Denmark using the Europol communication system,” said the Interior Ministry.
It was previously reported that the Russian Federation was trying to cover up its crimes by faking about a “dirty bomb”.
