On Sunday morning, Ukrainians consumed 2.6% less electricity than yesterday, the company said.
Ukrenergo’s dispatch center did not provide data for the emergency shutdown to operators on Sunday morning, as it was not needed. This was reported by the company’s press service on October 30.

“There is no need to restrict consumers due to the fact that Ukrainians consumed 2.6% less electricity this morning than yesterday, and the highest point of the morning peak was later, which also slowed down the growth of consumption, ” said the report.
Last night also recorded a decrease in the load on the power system. In particular, residents of Kyiv reduced consumption by 6.2%, in Kyiv region – by 3.3%, Cherkasy – by 17.8%, Kharkiv – by 7.0%, Chernihiv – by 5.9%.
But Ukrenergo warned that there could be blackouts tonight if necessary. Ukrainians are urged to continue saving electricity.
“Do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time and, if possible, transfer the use of washing machines, boilers and heaters to the night when the level of consumption in the power system is the lowest,” added the company.
It was previously reported that from October 31 in all regions of Ukraine they plan to conduct planned blackouts instead of emergencies.
