President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed a new appeal to the citizens of his country with a request to introduce restrictions on electricity consumption as a way to overcome Russia also in the energy sector.
Zelensky recalled that due to Russian attacks on the country’s key energy facilities, emergency power outages occur in many cities and regions of Ukraine, so “electricity consumption must be limited,” as the President of Ukraine called in his daily speech. to the population of the country.
“Whatever the enemy does, our task is to thwart his plans and protect Ukraine. And this is not someone’s job, not only power engineers or anyone else. Now all Ukrainians need conscious energy consumption (…). We also need to win over Russia on the energy front,” the president said.
In this sense, Zelenskiy warned that “Russian terrorists” would create “so difficult” conditions that no one in Europe would “ever” see or encounter them.
“(In Europe) there were no such threats and our specialists are forced to overcome them now. And they win with honor,” the head of state said.
However, Zelenskiy summed up the latest successes on the front against Russian troops, specifying that eight Russian helicopters were shot down this Wednesday, bringing the number of aircraft of this type destroyed by the Ukrainian army to 250.
Russia is testing nuclear weapons
Russia maneuvered its Grom strategic nuclear force in a new challenge to the West, while on the battlefield, Ukraine’s counter-offensive in southern Kherson region slowed down.

“The planned tasks during the exercises of the strategic deterrence forces have been fully completed. All missiles hit their targets,” the Kremlin said.
During the exercise, chaired by videoconference of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, a simulated “launch nuclear strategic offensive forces in response to an enemy nuclear strike.
NATO criticizes Russia
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg yesterday accused Russia of “false” claims that Ukraine is preparing a “dirty bomb” on its territory, as was the case earlier in Syria.
“Russia is now falsely claiming that Ukraine is preparing to use a radiological dirty bomb on its territory. NATO allies reject this blatantly false accusation,” Stoltenberg said today in a speech on the USS George W. Bush aircraft carrier.
According to the Secretary General of the Atlantic Alliance, “Russia often blames others for what they intend to do themselves.”
