President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed a new appeal to the citizens of his country with a request to introduce restrictions on electricity consumption as a way to overcome Russia also in the energy sector.

Zelensky recalled that due to Russian attacks on the country’s key energy facilities, emergency power outages occur in many cities and regions of Ukraine, so “electricity consumption must be limited,” as the President of Ukraine called in his daily speech. to the population of the country.

“Whatever the enemy does, our task is to thwart his plans and protect Ukraine. And this is not someone’s job, not only power engineers or anyone else. Now all Ukrainians need conscious energy consumption (…). We also need to win over Russia on the energy front,” the president said.

In this sense, Zelenskiy warned that “Russian terrorists” would create “so difficult” conditions that no one in Europe would “ever” see or encounter them.

“(In Europe) there were no such threats and our specialists are forced to overcome them now. And they win with honor,” the head of state said.
