The Russian Foreign Ministry illustrated the message about the alleged preparation of a provocation in Ukraine with a photo of a nuclear waste storage facility in Slovenia 12 years ago.
The Russian edition of RIA Novosti reported that Ukraine has allegedly completed technical preparations for a provocation using a “dirty bomb”. And the Russian Foreign Ministry described the alleged preparations with a “dirty bomb” photograph 12 years ago.
It was noted that employees of the Ukrainian enterprise Yuzhmash allegedly prepared a fake rocket of the Russian Iskander complex, which was planned to be filled with radioactive material, and then shot down by Ukrainian air defenses in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and accused the Russia’s use of weapons with nuclear charges.
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry published a message on Twitter, in which, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense, it said that allegedly “two Ukrainian organizations were directly ordered to create the so-called dirty bomb.” The message was accompanied by a photo of the Russian Ministry of Defense with several nuclear facilities.
The Slovenian government soon announced on Twitter that a photo taken in 2010 of a radioactive waste storage facility at a nuclear power plant in Slovenia was used in the slide to illustrate the preparation of a “dirty bomb”.

It will be remembered that the fake about the “dirty bomb” was announced by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin himself, a few days before it was launched by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba responded by saying that Ukraine does not have the “dirty bomb” that Russia claims.
