The invaders have already lost a great deal of equipment – aviation and otherwise – because most of the world’s armies are out of service, the President said.
Ukrainian troops are engaged in heavy fighting with Russian aggressors in the Donetsk region. This is what President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Wednesday, October 26.
“Fierce fighting continues in the Donetsk region – the direction of Bakhmut, Avdiivka. All our soldiers holding positions in these directions in the Donetsk region are just heroes,” the head of state said.
According to him, “active actions continue in other areas. Today I would like to praise the fighters of the 25th airborne brigade for their courage during the liberation of the occupied territories in the Lugansk region.”
“Today, during the day, an air raid alert was announced several times in most of the territory of our state. The Air Force has results: another helicopter of the occupant was shot down, another drone,” he said.
According to Zelensky, “the total number of downed Russian helicopters is approaching 250. The Russian occupiers have already lost a lot of equipment – aviation and others – as most of the world’s armies have not and will not ever incurred in the service. These losses cannot be recovered.”
“I thank all our fighters for the gradual and irreversible demilitarization of the enemy. Glory to everyone who fights and works for the freedom of Ukraine,” the president said.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit six bases of invaders in one day. The results of fire damage carried out by the Defense Forces of Ukraine against the enemy in recent days have also been confirmed.
