An Iranian foreign ministry spokesman denied the allegation that Iranian instructors were helping Russian forces.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani on Monday dismissed claims that Iranian instructors are in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine assisting Russian forces. This was reported by AFP.

Commenting on the White House’s statement about participation in the war in Ukraine, Kanani said:

“We strongly deny this news.”

He also accused the United States of seeking to “distract public opinion from the destructive role they are playing in the war in Ukraine, being on one side of the conflict and intensively exporting arms and equipment to Ukraine.”

As you know, recently Russia has been widely using kamikaze drones for attacks in Ukraine, which experts have identified as Iranian Shahed-136, and Russian forces use them under the name Grant. Tehran has repeatedly denied transferring drones to Russia. The White House believes the denial of Iran is false.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said Iran’s provision of weapons to Russia for waging a full-scale war makes it complicit in aggression and war crimes on Ukrainian territory.

Earlier it was reported that those mobilized in Russia began to be provided with bulletproof vests and helmets of Iranian production.
