Iranians planning to visit Ukrainian territory have been advised to avoid visiting.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry called on the country’s citizens to refrain from traveling to Ukraine, and those on Ukrainian territory to leave. It was reported on October 21 by the APA agency.
“In connection with the escalation of military conflicts and strengthening of security in Ukraine, all citizens of Iran are recommended to refrain from visiting this country,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed.
Iranians in Ukraine must also leave the state to “protect their lives and safety.”
Earlier in Ukraine, the EU and the US said that Russia was using Iranian drones to strike Ukrainian settlements. Official Tehran denied the transfer of weapons to the Russian Federation.
Against the backdrop of escalating attacks using Iranian drones, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba initiated a break in diplomatic relations with a country that helps the Russian Federation.
