The winners of Eurovision-2022 Kalush Orchestra in a duet with the cult Finnish rock band The Rasmus released the song In The Shadows Of Ukraine. The composition was released on Youtube on Friday, October 21st.
“Combining the legendary rock song with the unique sound of Ukrainian folk, we created “In The Shadows of Ukraine”. Original line from the song: “They say I have to learn to kill before I feel safe, but I would rather kill myself before I become their slave” reflects the feelings of Ukrainians during the years of war in their country. Our mission is to tell as many people as possible about this war and the courage of the Ukrainian people. That’s why we decided to Shoot a video for this song. We believe that the sun will rise, and all enemies will disappear,” the musicians presented the premiere.
It is noted that the composition combines traditional Ukrainian folk, hip-hop and rock. Rasmus sings with the Kalush Orchestra in Ukrainian on the melodic choir section of the track.
It was previously reported that the Kalush Orchestra said how much money they raised in charity concerts in European cities.
