On Friday morning, parts of Zhytomyr were without electricity. It was announced on October 21 by mayor Sergei Sukhomlin.
According to him, there was an overload in one of the substations. As a result, the power supply was cut off in part of Zhytomyr.
“Be careful on the roads. There are traffic lights that don’t work. Some don’t work properly,” the mayor warned.
According to local media, there are no lights on the streets of Hrushevsky, Khlebnaya, Princes Ostrozhsky, Ivan Mazepa.
And Zhytomyrvodokanal reported that the water supply was suspended in the Polevaya microdistrict due to a lack of electricity at the pumping station.
Recall that on the morning of October 18, Russian troops attacked Zhytomyr. As a result of the attack, the city, as well as 11 settlements in the region, were left without electricity and water.
