More Russian equipment and troops have arrived at Zyabrovka military airfield, near the border with Ukraine.
Fresh satellite images show more Russian equipment and troops at the Zyabrovka military airfield near the Ukrainian border. This was reported by the Belarusian edition of Radio Liberty.
Journalists noticed that over the past month, the Zyabrovka military airport near Gomel has been actively changing. Recently, more Russian equipment and military personnel have arrived there.
“Russian military equipment and forces arrived in Zyabrovka a week and a half ago. The Russians have been staying there since spring, but in limited numbers. Access to Zyabrovka is still closed. The Russian troops are still standing, but now with more equipment and people,” – said the source of the publication in the Gomel region.
Photos show that sand embankments are being built on the northern side of the airport. According to Radio Liberty, similar structures in the form of mounds can be seen, for example, in the military unit of the 1146 anti-aircraft missile regiment, which performs tasks to protect the Ostravets nuclear power plant. There, on the embankments, radar stations are installed, which are used to identify targets and guide missiles.
A satellite image taken on October 16 shows that the number of military trucks has increased on the territory of Zyabrovka airfield, the territory of the military camp has expanded, and the presence of S-300 and S-400 anti- aircraft missile system is remarkable. We also see a train arrive with fuel.
It should be reminded that earlier it was reported that the probability of a repeated attack by an aggressor from Belarus is low, but in the spring such a threat may increase significantly.
