Russian occupiers have increased the number of checkpoints in the Kherson region after the announcement of a mass “evacuation” due to a possible “strike” by the Ukrainian military in the region. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Council Yury Sobolevsky.
“The occupying authorities increased the number of checkpoints and tightened control over the existing ones,” he wrote on Telegram.
Also, according to him, the occupiers plan to use the housing of the people leaving.
“For this, all ‘evacuees’ are required to specify the address of their last residence,” added Sobolevsky.
Remember, earlier it was reported that the Russian troops, who fled from the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region, were hiding behind the civilian population: they announced the evacuation and created a disturbance.
