Almost four thousand individuals and legal entities from Russia fell under Ukraine’s strict measures.
Ukraine’s sanctions lists include 2,507 individuals and 1,374 legal entities of the Russian Federation. Orders imposing sanctions by decision of the National Security and Defense Council are published on the President’s website.
Specifically, Decree No. 7262022 imposes sanctions against politicians, public figures, military personnel, including the daughter of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Ekaterina Tikhonova.
Decree No. 7272022 imposes sanctions against oligarchs, including Roman Abramovich.
“Together with the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers must ensure the implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions),” said of command.
The Foreign Ministry was also ordered to inform the competent authorities of the EU, the United States and other states about the application of sanctions and to raise the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures with them.
The sanctions lists include Russian companies, in particular, Alfa-Bank and several companies related to it, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Rostelecom, RusHydro, Alrosa, Rosgosstrakh, insurance and financial companies related to VTB and Sberbank, RTS Holding, Sogaz.
Also under sanctions are the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian special air detachment, the Kazan Helicopter Plant and the Admiralty Shipyards, Kamaz, and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft.
In addition to Russian companies, sanctions were imposed on Belarusian (State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus, Belarusian OKB TSP and Defense Initiatives, Belspetsvgeshtekhnika) and Croatian (TGADOO za Trgovinu i Usluge and Katina DOO) legal entities .
The sanctions include 17 strict measures ranging from blocking assets and completely stopping trade and transferring resources to ceasing to fulfill economic and financial obligations, revocation or suspension of licenses,
Among the restrictions are also the prohibition of participation in privatization, public and defense procurement, transactions in securities, a prohibition on increasing the size of the authorized capital of related companies (with a share of 10%), the introduction of additional measures in the field of environmental, sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary control, termination of trade agreements and joint projects.
