The Estonian Parliament by an absolute majority (88 votes in favor) adopted a statement condemning the annexation of the territory of Ukraine and declaring the Russian regime terrorist.
In a statement, the Riigikogu (the name of the Estonian parliament is “Rakurs”), in particular, strongly condemns the military actions of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the illegal annexation of territories seized during the aggression, and states that Estonia will never recognize the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine as a result of aggression. , said the Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia, Marianna Betsa.
The statement states:
Supporting the appeal of the Parliament of Ukraine to countries and international organizations, the Riigikogu recognizes the Russian regime as a terrorist one, and the Russian Federation as a state supporting terrorism, whose actions we must counter together. The Riigikogu calls on the international community to adopt such declarations.
During the meeting, one of the deputies from the rostrum showed a photo of a woman who died on October 17 in Kyiv as a result of shelling a residential building with kamikaze drones.
Rescuers found the body of Goodwine employee Victoria in an embrace with her husband Bogdan and a cat in a broken house. Bogdan and Victoria were 34 years old. Victoria was six months pregnant and was going on maternity leave in December.
