More than 100 people have died in Popasna since the beginning of the Russian invasion, he said. Today more than 2.5 thousand local residents remain in the city.
“From the occupied part of Popasna, the Russians ‘evacuated’, that is, deported the people to Pervomaisk. The street fighting continues unabated, the people are living in bomb shelters, they are not able to escape due to the thickness of the shelling, ”the report said.
Gaidai added that there were no surviving houses in Popasna. Medical assistance is provided only by military doctors. Evacuating from the city was difficult, but now we have been able to release 60 local residents.
Earlier it was reported that in the cities of Popasnaya, Rubizhnoye and part of the villages of the Gorskaya community, it was impossible to restore the supply of energy, gas and water before the end of the war.
