Russian dictator Vladimir Putin today, October 19, announced the decision to introduce “martial law” in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Luhansk regions from October 20.
This is reported by the Russian media with reference to Putin’s statement made by him during today’s meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
The text of the corresponding decree has already appeared on the official website of the Kremlin. According to him, in these regions, the rashists will announce the creation of a “territorial defense.” Putin also introduces:
- “medium level of response” in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Rostov regions located near Ukraine, as well as in the temporarily occupied Crimea;
- “high alert level” in the central and southern federal districts of Russia;
- “level of basic readiness” in other subjects of Russia.
