Poland knows what Russian occupation is and considers the complete expulsion of the Russian Federation from the territory of Ukraine as the basis for ending the war.
For the sake of the security of Europe and the world, it is necessary to stop Russian imperialism, which in the first place means the restoration of the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine. This is what Polish President Andrzej Duda said in an interview on the RAI TV channel, TVP reports.
He noted that the Poles have been supporting the Ukrainians since the first days of the war, because they know “what Russian occupation means.”
“We know that the Russians must be stopped, that this is a revived Russian imperialism… If the Ukrainians surrender, we may follow. We know about it,” the Polish leader stressed.
According to him, for the security of Europe and the world, it is necessary to stop the Russian Federation.
“For me, this means, first of all, pushing Russia out of the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine… There is only one fair decision: Ukraine must return to its internationally recognized borders, ” said Duda and added that this is the basis for ending the war.
The President of Poland also believes that Russian war criminals should be punished by the international community in order to maintain peace in the future.
“The naïve is the one who believes the Russian propaganda about the Nazis in Ukraine: it is complete nonsense. Russia wants to dominate, expand its territory, wants to use the actual slave labor of other peoples, even parasitic on the body of other countries and people. We do not agree with this,” he stressed.
Duda assured that Russia could be defeated and pointed to the need to provide Ukraine with more weapons and equipment.
It will be remembered that the President of Poland during his visit to Kyiv called August 23 the Day of Protest against Russian imperialism.
Duda compared the Russian invaders to the Nazis
