After the enemy attack, the electricity supply was restored to the townspeople, but there was not enough power for the businesses.
In Zhytomyr, due to a Russian missile attack on an energy facility, large businesses are out of business and electric transport is not running. Mayor Sergei Sukhomlin announced this on October 19 at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the City Council.
“Yesterday, the last districts (cities) were connected only at about 22.00. The situation is such that there is not enough power, so the work of large enterprises is still in doubt. The work continues, and now there will be more more information,” said the mayor.
In addition, electric transport does not work in Zhytomyr.
Recall that on the morning of October 18, Russian troops attacked Zhytomyr. As a result of the attack, the city, as well as 11 settlements in the region, were left without electricity.
