For now, the emergency connection to the backup networks in the Zhytomyr region continues.
As a result of shelling by the Russian aggressors, there is no electricity in 11 settlements of the Zhytomyr region. The enemy destroyed an energy infrastructure facility, Vitaliy Bunechko, head of Zhytomyr OVA, said on Facebook on Tuesday morning, October 18.
According to him, emergency reconnection to backup networks is currently underway. This will allow the supply of light to the communities to continue.
Bunechko also mentioned that no one was killed or injured as a result of the enemy attack.
Earlier on Tuesday, it became known about two “arrivals” in Zhytomyr, after which the electricity went out in the city. State Emergency Service personnel are on the scene.
Also, strikes were made in other Ukrainian cities, mainly at energy infrastructure facilities.
