The official thanked the Italian government as well as Defense Minister Lorenzo Guerini for providing the new military aid package.
According to the Ukrainian minister, this package will help Kyiv significantly strengthen the country’s defense against the backdrop of Russian military aggression.
“Ukraine greatly appreciates your help,” Reznikov added.
The head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry did not reveal what kind of military aid Italy transferred.
As previously reported, Germany, the Czech Republic and Italy have prepared new military aid packages for Ukraine.
We add that Zelensky discussed further support for Ukraine with the head of the Italian political force Brothers of Italy, George Meloni, who won the election.
