Organizers of the fundraiser hope to collect 100 million. However, in less than two days, one and a half times more money arrived.
In less than two days, the Ukrainians collected 150 million hryvnias for a powerful anti-drone system, the Shahedov Catcher. This was announced on Saturday evening, October 15, by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
“In less than two days, 150 million hryvnias for a powerful anti-drone system was collected by monobank, Lachen and UNITED24,” he said.
According to Fedorov, the goal is to raise 100 million.
“But thanks to your cosmic support, the mono banks have fallen by half. Thanks for every donation,” he wrote.
Fedorov also said that 1,000 exclusive bracelets from the last pre-war batch of Azovstal with the inscription “I believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” will be raffled off in the near future. Of these, 100 were personally signed by Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny.
It will be remembered, today it was reported that Kyiv was partially closed by an anti-drone dome that protects important objects.
