The head of the National Security and Defense Council called the facility in the Kerch Strait a “squatter”, which arose illegally on the territory of Ukraine.
The Crimean bridge is a “self-construction” that the Russian Federation must remove at its own expense in accordance with Ukrainian law. About that said Alexei Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, in an interview with Radio NV, published on October 14.
According to him, the Ukrainian side does not have any documents about what kind of building it is and how it appeared.
“If you want to build something on the territory of our country, you must go through some registration procedures – agree to the project, see how appropriate or inappropriate it is. Our country has not given any permission for such a construction to anyone. If you move to Russian, it is called a squatter, and according to our laws, they must remove this squatter at their own expense. Sooner or later it will happen,” emphasized Danilov.
When asked about the situation on the Crimean bridge after the recent explosions, the head of the National Security and Defense Council answered briefly: “It’s not working.”
“Today there are queues of more than a thousand trucks standing on the side of the Russian Federation,” he added.
It will be recalled that the FSB said that the head of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, was behind the explosion on the Crimean bridge.
Earlier, Danilov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin could only save the Crimean bridge from destruction if all the invaders were removed from the peninsula along with it.
