On Thursday, October 13, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu signed an agreement on providing Ukraine with grants in the security and defense sector. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The agreement allows France to supply weapons to Ukraine at the initiative of Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron. Thanks to France for supporting the Ukrainian army,” said Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said Ukraine would receive another batch of French military aid in the coming weeks.
The media also wrote that France sent 15 howitzers to Ukraine.
