According to the DPRK Central Telegraph Agency, the test launch “successfully carried out” on October 12 aims to further increase the combat capability and power of long-range strategic cruise missiles for the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
It was noted that two missiles flew for 10234 seconds, or almost three hours, in an oval and figure eight in the sky over the Yellow Sea, and then fell on targets at a distance of 2000 kilometers.
Such a distance makes all of Japan available for a strike.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un expressed “great satisfaction with the result of the test launch.” He praised the “high responsiveness” of his “nuclear defense force,” arguing that the latest tests proved it was “fully prepared for real war.”

It can be recalled that the DPRK first tested a long-range strategic cruise missile in September last year. This type of projectile is especially dangerous, as it can fly low and maneuver, making interception difficult.
It was previously reported that North Korea has stepped up a series of missile tests.
