Kamikaze drones were eliminated in the sky over the Vinnitsa region on Wednesday, October 12.

Russian invaders on Wednesday tried to attack the Vinnytsia region with two kamikaze drones. Both enemy drones were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense. The head of the Vinnitsa regional military administration, Sergei Borzov, announced this on Telegram.

The enemy attacked the Vinnitsa region with two kamikaze drones. Both attack drones have been destroyed by the air defense forces! – the message says.

The air alert in the Vinnitsa region was announced at 16.47. As of 19.18 it continues in the region.

As you know, the aggressor country of the Russian Federation has recently been using Iranian kamikaze drones as an alternative to cruise missiles. The flight range of such drones is 1,000 km, they reach speeds of up to 185 km/h. On the bow, such an apparatus carries explosives weighing up to 50 kg. These UAVs fly quite low, so it is difficult to identify air defense systems.

Recall, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said on October 11 that the weapons provided by Poland help the Ukrainian military to resist the Iranian Shahed-136 drones used by Russia.
