The Polish operator said there was a leak in one of the branches of the Druzhba pipeline. Russia supplies Europe with oil through it
Russia may be behind the Druzhba oil pipeline accident. On Wednesday, October 12, in an interview with Polish Radio, the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said.
He did not directly accuse Russia of sabotage, but stressed that “many clues point to the Kremlin.”
Morawiecki said that the true cause of the leak will be known only after the investigation into the causes of the accident is completed.
He said, the investigation has not yet officially determined whether the leak was caused by sabotage or accidental damage.
The leak was reportedly discovered on the night of October 11th. The damage site is located in Poland, about 70 kilometers from Plock. The oil supply line to Germany was damaged. The other thread works without change.
Earlier in Poland, they said that they do not consider the leakage from the pipeline to be sabotage, adding that we are talking about accidental damage.
