Poland provided complexes where defenders shot down Iranian drones, and taught our fighters how to manage them.
Over the course of two days, personnel of the anti-aircraft missile division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down nine of the 11 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Such data on Tuesday, October 11, was published by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
“This is the result of high-quality training of our anti-aircraft gunners, carried out by our Polish brothers. Poland provided the complexes where the Ukrainians shot down the Iranian drones launched by the Russians with Soviet missiles. Thanks to the Pole brothers,” the general referred.
Zaluzhny called what was happening “the realities of war today.”
As reported, as part of a new training mission, the European Union plans to train up to 15,000 Ukrainian military personnel. EU member states have agreed to this working level.
