Host Ukrainian families under the Family Visa Scheme and Program Houses for Ukraine 150,000 Britons volunteered. The minimum period for which they are committed to providing housing is six months. For this, each household received a monthly “thank you” from the state in the amount of £350.
Today, according to the publication, the number of Ukrainian families who fled to the UK with official registration as homeless has reached 1915. At the same time, 70% of these families have children.
“The number of homeless Ukrainian families in England increased by 22% in the past month – during this period 350 families were registered as homeless,” the article said.
Experts believe that the real number of Ukrainians at risk of being on the street is much higher.
