At the end of August, minor Ukrainians were forcibly taken from the Kharkov region to the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
Another 37 children deported by the invaders returned to Ukraine. This was announced on October 11 by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
It was noted that at the end of August, the children were forcibly taken from the Kharkiv region to the village of Kabardinka in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, despite the fact that all of them had parents.
“The families have been reunited and are in a safe place in Transcarpathia. They have been placed in shelters for internally displaced people – in villages with beautiful views of Belka and Gorinchevo,” the ministry said.
It was emphasized that the return process is difficult. To pick up the children, the parents traveled far to several European countries.
It was previously reported that since the beginning of the mass invasion, the Russian Federation has deported more than 7,800 children from Ukraine.
