Russia is a terrorist state – Kislitsa

The whole world has once again seen the true face of a terrorist state that is killing our people, said Ukraine’s permanent representative to the UN.

At an emergency meeting of the UN General Assembly, Ukrainian Ambassador to the UN Serhiy Kislitsa condemned Russia as a “terrorist state.” He also noted that the Russian Federation wants to take everything back to the 1930s, when Hitler destroyed sovereign states through invasion, fake referendums and the Anschluss. This was announced on Monday, October 10, by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Serhiy Kislitsa.

“Today, terrorist Russia fired at least 84 rockets and two dozen drones at Ukraine’s capital city of Kyiv and many other Ukrainian cities across the country.

Energy facilities, residences, schools and universities, museums and intersections in city centers were among the targets later recognized by the Russian Ministry of Defense as legitimate.

The whole world has once again seen the true face of a terrorist state that is killing our people,” Kislitsa said.

At the same time, he emphasized that Russia is trying to do everything possible to return the world to the time of the Second World War, when Hitler destroyed sovereign countries through aggression. Today, the UN is at a turning point when the organization needs to restore its credibility.

“After the Russian delegation, when it entered the General Assembly, a trail of blood was left, and the hall was filled with the smell of smoking human flesh. This is what we have endured for a long time in Syria, this is what is happening now. in Ukraine. The same dictator in the Kremlin, the same Russian generals known for scorched earth tactics in the wars they fought in Syria and Chechnya, and now in Ukraine,” Kislitsa said.

“Countries that introduce doctrines of aggression and war, which tend to weaken or destroy the legal world order in the world, should not be accepted in the proposed International Organization,” he added.

The 193-member UN General Assembly decided on October 10 to hold an open, rather than secret, vote on a draft resolution condemning “illegal so-called referendums” held by Russia in the territories area of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as “an attempt at the illegal annexation” of these Russian territories.

Diplomats said the vote on the resolution is likely to take place on 12 October.

Earlier, the State Emergency Service reported that as a result of the Russian missile attack on Ukraine, 11 people died and 89 were injured.

It was also reported that during the mass strike in Ukraine on Monday, October 10, Russia used 84 cruise missiles.
