Pyshny named his priorities as the head of the NBU and noted that next year will be difficult for the financial sector.
The former head of Sberbank, Andrey Pyshny, officially headed the NBU and was introduced to the staff of President Vladimir Zelensky and Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal. On Monday, October 10, Lush wrote on Facebook.
At the same time, Pyshny noted that he supports the anti-crisis management policy that was previously applied, and believes that it is bearing fruit.

He also noted that it is necessary “to develop a new dialogue between the National Bank and the government, which will improve the quality and efficiency of all financial measures applied by the National Bank to ensure price stability, as well as stability of the banking system, and will contribute to the programs implemented by the government.”
Pyshny also named his priorities to the head of the NBU: macro-financial stability, the effectiveness of macroeconomic policy, constructive negotiations with international partners, opening access to those resources that “we urgently need now. “
“Next year will not be easy. USD 38 billion is the total need for financing. Raising it is a common cause for all the government bodies we will work with. And, of course, another priority is a stable banking system, which is the key to having, is and should be credit support for the Ukrainian economy, Ukrainian businesses,” he said.
“I would like to note separately that the National Bank, under my leadership, will implement systematic large-scale reforms that Ukraine needs for accelerated integration with the European community,” Pyshny added.
Recall that the former head of the National Bank, Kirill Shevchenko, announced political pressure on him after information appeared in the media that he was exposed for embezzlement of more than 200 million hryvnias.
