Norway provided hundreds of Mistrals to Ukraine

Norway provided Ukraine approximately one hundred Mistral air defense systems. This was reported by the Norwegian Ministry of Defense.

“The conflict in Ukraine could take a long time, and the country relies on international support to fight Russia’s aggression. Therefore, the government has decided to give the Mistral air defense system to Ukraine,” said Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram.

Note that the Mistral air defense system is designed to destroy low -flying aircraft and helicopters.
