The agreement must be of an international nature and aimed at regulating relations.

Turkish presidential adviser Ibrahim Kalin said that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin planned to conclude a “big new agreement” with the West, which would partly concern Ukraine. This was reported by CNN.

“We believe that Putin wants to have a new big deal, a new agreement with the West. This also applies to Ukraine, of course,” he said.

According to Kalin, the agreement will be international in nature and aims to resolve issues between Russia and the West.

The Turkish presidential adviser noted that the agreement should replace the agreements concluded at the end of the Cold War, because they no longer correspond to reality.

Kalin believes that negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation can continue in the future, despite the fact that Vladimir Zelensky has approved the official refusal to negotiate with Vladimir Putin.

It will be remembered that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation on Friday, October 7, with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The parties, among other things, discussed the war in Ukraine.

Earlier, Erdogan urged Putin to “give talks a chance.”
