People are leaving, including from unoccupied territories. In particular, more than 15 thousand citizens left the Kharkiv region.
More than 115 thousand citizens of Ukraine have left mainly dangerous regions, temporarily occupied and newly liberated territories, as well as within the mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region in the last two months. This was reported by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
In particular, more than 15 thousand citizens left the Kharkiv region. Often these are women with children, as well as the elderly and people with limited mobility. In general, since the beginning of the mass invasion, millions of Ukrainians have left their homes.
“We once again call on everyone in the newly liberated territory to take responsibility for the situation. The infrastructure of many cities and villages has been badly damaged by the enemy. We will repair and rebuild everything. But for now it is not safe to live here. urged the Deputy Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Borodai.
Earlier, the head of the Lugansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai said that residents of the Luhansk region will be asked to evacuate due to the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the de-occupation, people will not be allowed to freely enter the cities of Rubizhnoye, Lisichansk and Severodonetsk, because it is impossible to start the heating season there.
