The Polish prime minister also noted that Russian gas has become a curse for Europe, so during the ENP meeting it was discussed its removal in the past.
The meeting of the European Political Community in Prague confirmed that Russia is in complete isolation. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated this at a press conference after the ENP summit, Ukrinform reports.
“This summit confirmed that Russia is completely isolated and not only from the EU countries, but also from other countries, including Russia’s direct neighbors. They all condemn Russia’s aggression,” Morawiecki said.
He emphasized that all European leaders agree that Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, as well as mistakes in energy policy, have led to inflation.
“This Russian gas is like a drug: the drug dealer also sells his products cheaply or gives them away for free to make his future victims addicted. And this is how Moscow behaved in the last several years,” Morawiecki said.
The Polish prime minister also noted that Russian gas has become a curse for Europe, so during the meeting it was discussed its removal in the past. Morawiecki stressed that these are not just sanctions, but also a step towards creating a world without Russian aggression and dependence on Russian energy carriers.
Morawiecki has previously spoken about the need to remove Putin from power.
