Civil infrastructure to receive reliable protection – Zelensky

The President discussed several US programs designed to build a safe space in Ukraine.

A new approach to civilian infrastructure security will soon be presented to the public. On Thursday, October 6, Zelensky said in his video message.

He noted that the day before he had a meeting in Kyiv with the head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power.

“We discussed the existing and prospective programs of our cooperation, the implementation of our plan for the rapid recovery of Ukraine. The main emphasis of these programs is security. And we will soon present the new security strategy to our civilian that infrastructure to the public,” he said.

The President also added that he thanked Power for allocating funds to prepare Ukraine’s infrastructure for the winter season, especially for heat supply.

It should be noted that the US Agency for International Development (USAID) will give Ukraine $55 million to help prepare for winter in a war with Russia and ensure an uninterrupted supply of heat and hot water to citizens.
