The Ukrainian Armed Forces have shot down 24 Shahed 136 kamikaze drones since September 30.
Since September 30, Russia has used 20 missiles of various types to shell Ukrainian territory, including 13 launches of ballistic missiles. The enemy also sent 46 Shahed 136 kamikaze drones to attack military installations, civilian infrastructure and troop positions. Managed to destroy 24 of these drones. This was stated by Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Brigadier General Alexei Gromov during an online briefing at the Military Media Center.

The general added that in general, the Russian army used 86 Iranian drones of this type against Ukraine, 60% of them were shot down.
Recall that the Ukrainian military reported that Iranian Shahid kamikaze drones can be recognized by their loud sound and low flight altitude, reminiscent of the sound of a moped or chainsaw engine. It is difficult for air defense forces to detect these UAVs because they fly at low altitude.
