Russian propagandists publicized Putin’s speech today, but the Kremlin denied it.

The Russian leadership has not made decisions to change the status of a “special operation” to an “anti-terrorist operation,” said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, on Wednesday, October 5.

Earlier, Russian media reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will announce the change from “SVO” to “KTO” today.

“This is entirely the prerogative of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the President of the country. To date, no such decision has been made,” he said.

Recall that this morning the Kremlin announced that Putin signed “documents” on the annexation of occupied Ukrainian territories. Now in the Russian Federation they believe that war is happening on their territory.
