The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a summary of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine on Tuesday evening, October 4.
During the day, the invaders launched five missiles and one air strike, making more than 15 attacks from the MLRS. The objects and the civilian population of more than 12 settlements suffered from enemy strikes. Among them are Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Andreevka (Dnepropetrovsk region), Bakhmut, Zaliznichnoye, Voznesensk and Prydneprovskoye, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was reported that the enemy fired from tanks, mortars and cannon artillery:
in the direction of Seversky – in the settlement area of Pisarevka, Sumy region;
in the Slobozhansky direction – in the areas of the settlements of Strelka, Volchansk, Varvarovka, Olkhovatka and Dvurechnoye.
In the direction of Kramatorsk, the enemy is regrouping its units.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired mortars, cannons and rocket artillery at more than ten settlements.
In the direction of Avdeevka, the infrastructure of the settlements of Avdeevka, Nakaranas, Pervomaiskoye, Krasnogorovka, Maryinka, Konstantinovka and Novomikhailovka suffered from enemy shelling.
In the directions of Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations, but the areas of 25 settlements underwent shelling.
In the direction of Yuzhnobuzhsk, the areas of more than 20 settlements along the collision line were subjected to shelling.
In the Russian Federation, the so-called “partial mobilization” continues. According to the available information, the Kazan Recruiting Center is producing and recruiting three motorized rifle and two artillery regiments on the funds of the Kazan Higher Tank Command School.

The General Staff noted the significant demoralization of the enemy.
“According to the updated information, on October 3 this year, in the south of Ukraine, the defeat of up to 30 enemy targets by the Defense Forces was confirmed. Today, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Mayorsk, Vyemka, Disputed, Ozeryanovka, Zaitsevo, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Vesele, Pervomayskoye and Novomikhailovka.
“The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes during the day. The defeat of 2 strongholds, 8 places of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 2 anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy were confirmed. In addition, the our air defense units shot down 2 enemy UAVs. Missile and artillery troops for the current day hit the command post, as well as 2 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the invader,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine specified. .
