Dissatisfaction is growing in Russia’s regions over the “chaotic” delivery of subpoenas and lack of support for the military.
Russian police are preparing new “special purpose” units to suppress “anti-mobilization” protests. This was announced on October 4 by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
It has been noted that in the Bryansk and Kursk regions of Russia, those mobilized are forced to buy uniforms and equipment themselves. At the same time, the owners of the military stores increased the prices significantly, causing massive complaints.
Also, discontent with wholesale mobilization is growing in Buryatia.
“In the village of Barguzin, even men who had never served in the army were mobilized. All those mobilized were sent to the Borg administrative center of the Trans-Baikal Territory. It turned out that there were no warm clothes at the collection point, so residents of Barguzin were forced to collect “humanitarian aid” for mobilized fellow villagers,” GUR said.
It is emphasized that, in general, the work of military registration and enlistment offices in Russia is characterized as “messy”.
“Officials, trying to carry out the plan of partial mobilization, issue subpoenas regardless of age, state of health and military experience … Cases of non-payment of financial rewards are becoming more frequent, the number of appeals to the court and the prosecutor’s office to receive the promised payments is increasing. At the same time, for the possibility of avoiding mobilization requires a bribe of up to 500,000 Russian rubles, “said the intelligence service.
It will be recalled that on September 21, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, announced a partial mobilization in the country. 300 thousand people are planning to call.
